Baseline of the Territorial Sea adjacent to Xisha Islands
The baseline of the territorial sea adjacent to the Xisha Islands was effective since 15 May 1996 according to Statement of the Chinese Government on the Baseline of the Territotial Sea of the People's Republic of China, which was passed on the same day. This baseline points were according to the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Territorial Sea and the Continuous Zone promulgated on February 25, 1992.
